La Milady, the southern beaches on the rise

South of the Côte des Basques, the Milady Quarter lines up its beaches, Marbella, La Milady, down to the Bidart boundary, in a landscape more open and more residential than the centre. Long considered the seaside outskirts of Biarritz, it has become one of the most sought-after areas for families and surfers who want the ocean every day without the density of the centre.

Villas from the 1930s to the 1970s, small condominiums facing the sea, quiet streets that smell of pine: La Milady is residential Biarritz at its finest.

The neighbourhood market, beyond the figures

€7,572/m² on average for apartments and above all +26% since 2019: La Milady posts the second strongest rise in town, just behind the Impérial. This catch-up tells a change of status: the neighbourhood is no longer a fallback but a deliberate choice, and ocean-view properties now reach levels worthy of the northern seafront.

Its house market is the second most valued in Biarritz: €11,605/m² on average over some forty recent sales, driven by the villas close to the beaches. For buyers, La Milady remains the best space-for-ocean compromise in town; for sellers, the momentum of the past five years clearly plays in their favour.
